Helen Falls Cheek, age 90, a resident of Raleigh, formerly of Newton Grove, NC passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Brighton Gardens, Raleigh, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Arthur Lee Falls and Rella Blanton Falls and was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Reverend Andy B. Falls, Jr and husband the late Reverend Hoyt Cheek. She was an active member of Newton Grove United Methodist Church. The family would like to send a special thanks to their mother’s caregivers at Brighton Gardens, to the staff of Hospice of Wake County and Rex Hematology and Oncology and Dr. Jeffery Crane.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE:  Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Tom Jolly, officiating

 VISITATION: 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at Harris Funeral Home, immediately following  the service.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
