Cherryville - Mr. Jack Dempsey Robbs, 80, went home to be with the Lord on
Monday, January 13, 2020.

Jack was born on November 13, 1939 in Greenville, SC a son of the late Ralph
Brown Robbs and Florence Dellinger Robbs. He was a draftsman by trade and
retired from O'Steele Company in Gastonia. Anyone who knew him, knew of his
love for sports, especially football. For many years a favorite past time
was attending Friday night High School football games. He was an avid lover
of animals which he passed on to his girls. Jack attended Allen Memorial
Baptist Church in Grover, NC where he loved the congregation and his friend
and pastor, Robbie Moore.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy
Robbs Beam.

Survivors include his two daughters, Shea Putnam and husband Dennis of
Chesnee, SC; Susan Crawley and husband George of Crouse; a sister, Margaret
Robbs of Cherryville; a brother, R.B. Robbs and wife Becky of Lincolnton; a
granddaughter, Alisa Crawley; a great granddaughter, Summerlynn Brayboy and
a niece Jana LeFevers and husband Eddie all of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 5:00 to 6:30PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held at City Memorial Cemetery in
Cherryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allen Memorial Baptist Church,
