He was born in Chesterfield County, SC, on June 12 1943 to the late Cecil
Lee Gulledge and Emma Hancock Gulledge. He was retired from Western &
Southern Life Insurance Company where he was a agent and staff manager.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret
Clay and Billie O'Connell.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Pauline Hartman Martin; son, Scott
Gulledge of Concord; daughter, Crystal G. Reed and husband, Kent of
Kannapolis; stepson, Kenneth Martin of Cherryville; two stepdaughters,
Jeannie Lail of Waco and Innette Sisk of Bessemer City; five brothers, Ricky
Dale Gulledge of Ruby, SC, Joseph Gulledge of Ruby, SC, Michell Gulledge of
Chesterfield, SC, Harold Gulledge of Victorville,SC, Carol Gulledge of
Cheraw, SC; two sisters, Debra Sue Sellers of Mt. Croghan and Doris
Kimmerling of Charlotte, five grandchildren, Karley Reed, Kayla Reed, Amber
Gulledge, Josh Gulledge and Mary Gulledge; six step-grandchildren, Kasey
Lail, Kenny Lail, Alea Sisk, Victoria Sisk, Gavin Martin, and Natalie
Martin; and one great-grandson, Hayden Lail.
