Jane Clapp Patterson

Jane Clapp Patterson, 75, died Sun., Nov. 16, 2014, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Russell and Lillyan Fowler Clapp. She retired after many years as a school teacher.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, UL “Pat” Patterson Jr.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her special friend and caregiver, Lynette Jones of Shelby; uncle, Charles Clapp; and many other extended family. A special thank you to the staff of Cleveland Pines and Hospice of Cleveland County, for all their loving care.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: A private family graveside service will be held at Piney Grove Cemetery at First Presbyterian Church of Swannanoa.
