Cherryville - Mrs. Janet Marie Dellinger Eaker, 66, of Bess Chapel Church
Road, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Atrium Health in
Lincolnton.

Janet was born in Lincoln County, NC on May 22, 1952 a daughter of Wilma
Miller Dellinger of Cherryville and the late John F. Dellinger. She was a
member of Bess Chapel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women
and also served the church in many other capacities. Janet worked for Doran
Mills in Cherryville, Pathways in Gastonia and retired from Partners
Behavioral Health in Hickory. She was also a member of Fallston Chapter
#282 Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 48 years, Robert
Craft "Snake" Eaker of the home; a son Mark Eaker and wife MaryEllen; a
grandson, Lance Alston Eaker; a brother, John Dellinger and wife Katie and a
niece, Sandy Dellinger all of Cherryville.

Visitation will be from 10:45AM to 11:45AM on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Bess
Chapel United Methodist Church and at other times the family will be at the
home.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Bess
Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Alice Day officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery with Eastern Star Rites.
