Kings Mountain - Mrs. Janice Canipe Thrift, 56, of 524 Stony Point Road,
passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her residence.

Janice was born on November 10, 1962 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of
the late Fred Madison Canipe and Gladys Daphine Bumgardner Canipe. She was
a receptionist for Holiday Inn in Kings Mountain.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha
Daphine York and a sister, Robin Canipe Rich.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Robert Thrift of the home; a son,
Jeremy Robert Parker of Ellenboro; three sisters, Rita Neely of Ellenboro;
Kathy Neely of Lawndale and Lisa Blanton of Shelby; two brothers, James
Canipe and Tim Canipe of both Lawndale; two grandchildren, Samara Parker and
Saturn Ivy Parker.

Services will be private.
