Cherryville - Mr. Jerry Keith Summitt, 75, passed away on Monday, December
21, 2015 at his residence.

Jerry was born in Rowan County, NC on July 7, 1940 a son of the late Tom B.
Summitt and Bryte Mae Black Summitt. He was retired as a contractor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Pierce
Summitt.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Summitt of Mt. Holly; four daughters, Lisa
Summitt and Marsha Hart both of Jacksonville, FL; Lynne Hibberts and husband
Gary of Crouse and Denise Shivers and husband Sam of Pascagoula, MS; a
brother, Jimmy Summitt of San Clemente, CA; eight grandchildren, Michael and
Jonathan Hart, Garrick and Garrison Hibberts, Wesley and Travis Barrell
Jessica and Crystal Romans; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 12:45 to 1:45PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Serivce.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home
& Cremation Service Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Fitch officiating.

Burial will be Private.
