Jesse Ray Downs, 35 of 221 Baxter Road, Cherryville passed away Monday, May
21, 2017 at his residence.

Born August 28, 1981 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Peggy Sue Downs
and the late Billy Ray Downs. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was survived by his fiancée, Rebecca Robertson
of Waco; son, Bryson Ray Downs of Casar; a daughter, Kelsey Nicole Downs of
Casar; a step-son, Matthew Robertson of Waco; two sisters, Chessady Vasquez
of Casar and Sherrie Lewis-Javine of Kings Mountain.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday at St. Paul Baptist Church with
Rev. Keith Fulbright officiating. The body will be placed in the church
thirty minutes before the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
