Johnnie Ray Bartee, 78, of Cleveland County passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011. Services were held at Lavonia Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bartee was preceded in death by his wife Janet Yvonne Crane Bartee and his parents, John A. and Mary Maggie McCraw. 

He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Childers and husband Ronnie of Dallas, NC; Rita Prince of Whitmire, SC; two sisters, Velia Humphries of Mooresboro; Ophelia McCraw and husband Elwyn and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Lavonia Baptist Church, 2841 Camp Creek Church Rd., Mooresboro, NC 28114.
