Joseph "Joe" McSwain, 65, passed away Saturday May 25, 2024 at his home in Kings Mountain, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on April 11,1959, he was the son of Ella Janois Dayberry Justice and the late Ervin McSwain. Joe was a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.

In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by stepfather Max Justice and step brother Joshua Dean Justice.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Christopher Road Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Tucker offering words of encouragement for those in attendance. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Christopher Road Baptist Church building fund: 420 Christopher Rd, Shelby, NC 28152
