KINGS MOUNTAIN- Joyce B. Hord, 79, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice. A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Irene Biddix. She worked in the Kings Mountain School District for over 40 years as a cafeteria manager. She and her husband also owned Paul's Seafood for 21 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she liked to cook. She was an active member of First Baptist Church for 32 years where she served the Lord.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Hord, of the home; daughters Kim Fleming and husband Russell and Denise Cobb and husband Pete; son Randy Hord and wife Leigh, all of Kings Mountain; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren with another one on the way. .

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 PM in the Stained Glass Room at First Baptist Kings Mountain and other times at the home of Kim Fleming

SERVICES: will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, August 31, 2018 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church

INTERNMENT: will follow the service at Mountain Rest Cemetery
