Joyce Webby Beam, 87 of E. Stagecoach Trail, Fallston passed away Friday,
May 13, 2016 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.

Born May 11, 1929 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late James
Webb Beam and Eva Julia Howell Beam. She was a 1947 graduate of
Cherryville High School and was retired after 33 years from Stamey's Store.
Mrs. Beam was a member of Fallston Baptist Church where she was a teacher
for the Ruth Boaz Sunday school Class and a member of Bible Study and
Hostess Committee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David
Columbus "D.C." Beam; a brother, James Robert Beam; sister, Jane Beam Helms;
brothers-in-law, Jim Helms and Dr. Edwin Beam; sister-in-law, Frankie Beam.

Survivors include a brother, Ronald Beam of Florence, SC; brother-in-law,
Frank Beam and wife, Mary of Shelby and; sisters-in-law, Mildred Lawson and
husband, John of Yorktown, VA and Evelyn Beam of Lenior and numerous nieces
and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cleveland Pinces Nursing
Center and Hospice Cleveland County for all the love and care they showed
through out Mrs. Beams illness.

Visitation will be held on Sunday form 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm at Fallston
Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday at Fallston Baptist Church
with Rev. David Blanton officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park
