Cherryville - Mr. Kenneth E. Hester, Sr., 58, passed away on Sunday, August
6, 2017 at residence.

Kenneth was born in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late Carl Hester and
Marcene Dellinger Hester. He was employed for many years as an area
manager for Sundrop in Gastonia and then went to work as a yard supervisor
for Advandced Drainage Systems in Bessemer City. Kenneth was a member of
Shady Grove Baptist Church in Cherryville.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Angela Anthony Hester of the home;
two sons, Kenneth E. Hester, Jr. and Jared Foster; daughter and son-in-law,
Amber Chapman and Larry; two grandchildren, Taylor and Trenton Chapman; a
brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Sheila Hester all of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:15AM at
Shady Grove Baptist Church and at other times the family will be at the
home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Shady
Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Hendricks officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
