Kenneth Ledford, 71, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Wendover Hospice House. Born on January 12, 1942, he was a native of Cleveland County and the son of the late Madeline Rabb Ledford.  He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, W. J. and Bessie Rabb and numerous aunts and uncles. He was the owner of Ledford's Flowers and Gift which later became Ledford's Design.  He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Ledford, Jr. and his wife Shannon; his two beloved granddaughters, Jade Ledford and Allison Foster; and his previous wife, Edna Strickland Ledford.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Wayne Allen and Rev. David Rabb will be officiating. Mr. Ledford will lie in state from 2:30 - 3:00pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30pm on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.
