 Mr. Larry Jacob Mellon, 64, of Lawndale, NC passed away on Thursday, May 10. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Mellon was preceded in death by his parents, Ivey T.C. Millon.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathy Shew Mellon; two stepsons, Derek Saunders and Christopher Saunders, both of Lawndale; four grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Mellon and wife Joyce of Vale; Thomas Mellon and wife Carolyn of Cherryville and Ricky Mellon and wife Phyllis of Casar; three sisters, Helen Burgess of Connelly Springs; Carolyn McGinnis and husband Frank of Lincolnton and Marie Johnson and husband Ricky of Lawndale; a special nephew, Michael Mellon  and other loving nieces and nephews.
