 Mrs. Laura Patrick Allen, 80, of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on May  19, 2012.  Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.  Burial followed in Mt. Rest Cemetery. 

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents  Walter and Marie Oliver Patrick;  sister, Aileen Duncan; and brothers, Charlie and Delbert Patrick.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Rev. Arthur Allen; son, Kenneth Allen of Cherryville; daughter, Delores Davis and husband Randy of Kings Mountain; adopted daughter, Mary Lester of Shelby; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
