 Ms. Linda Francine “Fran” Trest, 66, of Shelby, NC, passed away on May 8, 2012. A memorial service  was held in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby.

Ms. Trest was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Harry Trest; daughters, Empress Bethel and husband Ronald of Kingston, OH, Melanie Trest of Stone Mountain, GA; three grandchildren; sister, Faith Johnson and husband Bill of Ellisville, MS, brothers, Jackie Simpson and wife Laura of Mount Olive, MS, John E. Simpson and wife Carol of Hattiesburg, MS; special friend, Cary Fleming; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Friends may share condolences by making a donation to their favorite charity in her memory.
