Linda M. Miller, 67, 194 24th St NW, Hickory, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley.

She was born on March 31, 1946, in Cleveland, NC, to the late J.C.  Willis and Vergie Lee Willis.  She was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church and was retired from Walmart as a Cashier.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Dale Roy Branch; brother, Gary Willis; and two sisters, Kay Frances Willis and Anita Diane Willis.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three brothers, James Willis of Casar, Wayne Willis of Hickory and Randy Willis of Vale; three sisters, Sharon Hicks of Vale, Joy Walker of Vale, and Robin Bumgarner of Vale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends form 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home.

Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in the Stamey Funeral Home Chapel.
