Linda Skipper Simeon

FOREST CITY - Linda Skipper Simeon, 62, of Buck Collins Road, Forest City, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Union County, South Carolina, she was born on November 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Horace Fletcher and Audrey Marlowe Skipper. She was a homemaker and member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church of Forest City and enjoyed playing the piano.

She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Simeon; one son, Jimmy Robinson of Forest City; three step-daughters, Carrie Simeon of York, Nebraska, Colleen Jensen of Minden, Nebraska, and Jennifer Bell of Kearney, Nebraska; two brothers, Larry Skipper and wife Debbie of Cliffside and Roger Skipper and wife Martha of Spartanburg; five step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. J.C. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery, Forest City. Visitation will be held from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home.
