Lloyd Franklin “Frankie” Putnam, 53 of Skinner Road, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at home.  A native of Cleveland County he was the son of the late Julius Franklin and Edna Waters Putnam.  Frankie was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  He was artistic, loving to draw, color and paint.  He loved animals and watching movies.  Frankie was the youngest sibling of nine and was a loving brother to all of his sisters.

Frankie is survived by his sisters, Linda Tesseneer of Shelby, Janice Putnam of Boiling Springs, Jean Stepp and husband James of Shelby, Frances Jones and husband Barry of Cliffside, Aileen Putnam of Boiling Springs, Helen Gibbons and husband Gary of Shelby, Carolyn Ledford and husband Neal of Shelby, Marie Stallings and husband Steve of Shelby; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January, 4, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  Dr. J. Eric Davis will be officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00am prior to the service at the church.
