Mrs. Lucille Bridges Wylie, 80, of 1405 Cherryville Rd., Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Services were held at Buffalo  Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Wylie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wylie; her parents, Harvey Bridges and Ola Mae Rabb Bridges Rutledge; 1 brother, Harvey Bridges; and 2 sisters, Lucy Deaton and Irene Barnett.

She is survived by 1 son, James Wylie of the home; 2 daughters, Ressie Owens and husband Roger, and Jessie Bridges, all of Shelby; and several loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Buffalo Baptist Church Building Fund, 1410 Buffalo Church Rd., Shelby, NC 28150.
