Mrs. Mamie Kiser, 84 of Rutherfordton passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. Services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Kiser was preceded in death by her husband Paul Reid Kiser; her parents Clarence M. and Bertha Mae Huffman Hutchins; a brother, Samuel James Hutchins; and a sister Vangie Trout.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Reid Kiser and Clarence William Kiser both of Forest City, NC; five daughters, Sheila Huckabee, Christine Dobbins, Angelina Hernandez, Kay Miller and Margie Sheppard all of Forest City, NC; one brother, Carace Hutchins of Forest City; four sisters, Dorothy Walker of Forest City, Ella Cosgriff of Detroit, MI, Louise Parris and Barbara Hutchins of Forest City, NC; and five grandchildren.
