What: 47th Annual Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show When: 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. March 14, 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, March 15. Where: Gastonia Farmers Market, 410 E. Long Ave., Gastonia, NC . Wednesday, MARCH 25 What: Lunar Observing When: 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, March 25. Where: Gateway Trail, 807 S. Battleground Ave., Kings Mountain, NC. More Info: Lunar observing with the largest portable aperture telescope from South Carolina. This is a FREE event hosted by the Park and the Cleveland County Astronomical Society. Weather permitting with a rain date of the 26th of March.

Astronomy Club Meeting: If you have an interest in astronomy, come join us Thursday at 7:00pm March 19th. Meeting held in the Williams Observatory on the campus of Gardner-Webb University. We meet the third Thursday of every month.
Foothills Quilters Guild: Foothills Quilters Guild invites you to join us each month on the third Thursday at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 300 N. Lafayette St. in Shelby, NC. We welcome new members young and old to learn and share in the talents and knowledge of the art of Quilting. Our doors are open at 10am for open sew day. Bring your machine and any project to work on or join in on the mystery Block of the Month or other fun activities throughout the day. Our meeting begins at 7pm with demonstrations and programs from area speakers followed by show and tell, door prizes and other meeting content. Call 803-370-0357 for more information.
Nar-Anon Support Group: Meets 6:30 pm weekly on Tuesdays at the First Baptist Church, 120 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC. Nar-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else's drug addiction. We meet in the classroom off Dale St. between Sumter & Campbell St. Park on the side of the church or in the alley.
