Martha Dimsdale Hunt, 70, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.  A native of Cleveland County she was the daughter of the late James Haskell and Eleanor Cash Dimsdale.  Martha was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and previously worked with the youth in the church.  She worked as a hair stylist for a number of years.  Martha was a member of the Campers On Mission Group.  She was a loving wife and mother.

Martha is survived by her loving husband of 16 years John Hunt; two sons, Lee Roberts and wife Cindy of Shelby and Johnny Roberts and wife Ansie of Polkville; six grandchildren, Mandy, Carrie, Jackson, Thomas, Caroline and Daniel; two brothers; and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Elizabeth Baptist Church. The Rev. Sam Snyder will be officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at the church. At other times the family will be at the home of her mother Mary Hunt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Cross Country Cowboy Church Mission fund, P O Box 461, Waco, NC 28169.
