Martha Hudson Morton, age 94, resident of Grover, NC went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2011 at White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC.  She was born in Cherokee Co., SC to the late Nathaniel Meekins Hudson and Mary Sue Benton Hudson.  She was also preceded in death by brothers, William Hudson, Clarence Gladden, Thomas Hudson,  and sister, Louise Acuff.   She was retired from Minette Mills, Grover, NC after many years of service and after retirement was a caregiver for several people.    A member of Clearview Baptist Church, Grover, NC.   She loved to cook, especially known for her Pineapple Upside Down Cake whom she  shared with family and friends.      She was the cornerstone of her family of whom she loved very much.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Clearview Baptist Church, Grover, NC Thursday, July 21, 2011   2:00 P.M.  Rev. Barry Miles, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Thursday, July 21, 2011 prior to the service at Clearview Baptist Church Sanctuary. 

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
