Martha Luckadoo Greene

Martha Luckadoo Greene, 82, died October 27, 2014 at Oak Grove Nursing Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was born on June 09, 1932, daughter of Taft Luckadoo and Beatrice Wise Luckadoo. She was retired from Cone Mill Haynes Plant . She was also a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Forest City where she was a former choir member and member of the Sisters of Service. She loved Nascar racing.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles William Greene and her parents also a sister, Judy Luckadoo. She is survived by sons, Terry Greene and wife Betty of Ellenboro and Rodney Greene and wife Donna of Forest City; a daughter Sherri Williams and husband Bobby of Kings Mountain; sisters Mary Blanton of Cliffside and Joann Guffey of Anderson, SC; her grandchildren, Terra Rollins and husband Anthony, Jonathan Greene and wife Kristi, Jordan Greene, Lindsey Greene and fiancee Jordan Hypes; her great granddaughter, Everly Hypes; a special friend Susan Eddins;
Funeral services will held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Wednesday at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating. Burial will follow in Cliffside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday night 6:00 -8:00 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll & Cremation Services. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 397 Mt. Pleasant Church Rd., Forest City, NC 28043.
