Martin Coleman Hoyle

Born March 21, 1949 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Luther Raymond Hoyle and Hattie Abernathy Hoyle. He was retired as a truck driver for USF Holland in Charlotte and Carolina Freight Carriers. Coleman was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and served in the US Army during Vietnam.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Myrtle Self Hoyle ; three brothers, Gary Dale, Bill and Gene Hoyle.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Davis Hoyle; son, Martin Raymond Hoyle and wife, Gina of Grover; two stepdaughters, Stacey Autrey and husband, Robert of Denver and Gina Bradshaw of Cherryville; brother, Don Hoyle of Cherryville; seven sisters, Ann Hord and husband, Everette, Janet Clary, JoAnn Lovelace and husband, Charles, Kathy Weaver and husband, Phillip, Margie Vess and husband, Walter, Linda Hoyle all of Cherryville, and Sue Thornburg and husband, Dwan of Kings Mountain; sisters-in-laws, Marie B. Hoyle and Loretta F. Hoyle; seven grandchildren, Benjamin "BJ" Mayhew, Aaron Mayhew, Kari Mayhew, Victoria Autrey, Olivia Autrey, Madison Hoyle and Leah Hoyle; numerous nieces and nephews and a special dog, Misty. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday at Buffalo Baptist Church, Shelby. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.

Burial: Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby
