Mrs. Mary Bridges Jenkins, 94, formerly of 3212 Cliffside Rd., Mooresboro, NC, passed away at Shelby Manor, Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Services were held at Trinity  Baptist Church. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Jenkins, Sr.; her parents, Paul and Lillie McKinney Bridges; and 1 sister, Katie Bridges.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Cornelia Sweezy and husband Gerald of Shelby, and Amanda Jolley and husband Richard of SC; 1 son, Sam Jenkins, Jr. of Shelby; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
