Mary Catherine Kelsheimer Mitchell age 91, died Saturday June 15, 2013 at Hospice Cleveland County. Born in Edgar CountyIllinois, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Enis and Edna Little Kelsheimer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shelby and enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Mitchell; a sister, Thelma Louise Haupt; two brothers, Ezra Russell Kelsheimer and Owen Charles Kelsheimer.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a son, John Douglas Mitchell and wife Tami of Maple Grove MN; a daughter Carol Ann Mitchell of Shelby; a brother, Wayne Morris Kelsheimer of Paris IL  ; and two grandchildren, John Tanner Mitchell and Logan Douglas Mitchell

Funeral services will held on Monday June 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory at 2:00pm with Rev. Tony Tench officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm just prior to the service. Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery in Chrisman IL at a later date.
