Mary Edna Ramsey, 91, of 111 Harrilson Rd, died January 25, 2013 at Carolina Care. She was born on March 19, 1921 in Gaston Co., a daughter of the late Vance and Daisy McFadden Putnam. Mrs Ramsey was retired from the Bali Co.
 
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Huston Ramsey, bothers Robert and James Putnam.
 
Survivors include her nieces and nephews Carlotta Walker, Crouse, Gary Putnam Vale, Dennis Ramsey Matthews,  Mike Heavner, Conway, SC, Rick Heavenr, Ronnie Allman and Libby Maffitt all of Cherryville.          
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner  officiating with burial in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday  from 1-1:45 PM at the funeral home.
