SHELBY- Michael Shane McCurry, age 42, of Shelby, NC, passed away April 17, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Born December 10, 1973 in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of Ronnie Earl McCurry Nancy Allen Spurlin.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nancy and Gary Spurlin of Lawndale; father and step-mother, Ronnie and Glenda McCurry of Shelby; brother, Todd McCurry of Shelby; and a special friend, Cat Parker.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Richard Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at a later date.
