Mr. TB Powell, 81 of Shelby, NC went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Services were held at Landmark Baptist Church, Shelby. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park. 

Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose Lee Powell and Doshie Mildred Beaver Powell; and 2 sisters, Ruth Evelyn Powell and Annie Louise Powell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Arrie Jones Powell; 1 brother, Robert Powell and wife Jean of Morganton; 2 sisters, Mildred Cline of Lawndale and Shirley Neason of Mableton, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
