Natalie Shea Lail Whitaker, 46, passed away Friday May 10, 2024 at Atrium Health Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County on December 26, 1977, she was the daughter of Debra Mull Harrill and David Walter Lail. She is preceded in death by her sister, Nicci Lail.

In addition to her parents, Natalie is survived by her husband William Lawrence Whitaker, step-daughter Lea Reese, step-father Freddie Harrill, step-mother Amy Lail, sisters Neely Melton (Todd), Mackenzie White (Corey), Leslie Spangler (significant other Jerry Allen), Leigh Jeghers (Greg), brother Fred Harrill, Jr. (Jennipher), as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 17th at Cleveland Memorial Park with Pastor Asher Panton officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Natalie had a passion and heart for her dogs, at one time caring for as many as 14 rescues.
