Mrs. Nell B. Ledbetter, 88, of 407 N. Post Rd., Shelby, NC, went to be with her Lord,  Friday, August 6, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry William Ledbetter, Sr.; her mother, Carrie Dale Bolton; 1 son, Jerry Ledbetter, Jr.; and 1 grandson.

She is survived by 1 son, Terry Ledbetter and wife Karen of Shelby; 2 daughters, Frances Mallet and Barbara Luffman and husband Dennis, all of Charlotte, NC; 1 sister, Mabel Moss of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Kings Mountain Hospice House, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
