Nevea Chapman Pruett, 78 of Parker Road, Casar passed away, Tuesday, August
14, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born September 19, 1939 in Burke County, she was a daughter of late Lottie
Bell Chapman. She was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl
John Pruett; an infant son; two sons, Danny Pruett and Richard "MeWill"
Dean Pruett and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, David Pruett of Casar; Billy Pruett of
Boiling Springs and Johnny Pruett of Casar; a daughter, Janie Beatty of
Casar; two sisters, Corene Hudson and Argel Chapman; and numerous loving
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Thursday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday at Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev.
Chris Sanford and Rev. Mike Sepaugh officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
