Mr. Oscar “Pop” Oved Trammell, 82 of Patterson Springs, NC passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Services were held at Patterson Springs Baptist Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Trammell served our country in the Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, late Charles and Lily Moree Trammell and 8 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Hamrick Trammell, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Hardin and husband George of Patterson Springs, Pam Franks of Lenoir; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
