Pauline Williams Arrowood
Pauline Williams Arrowood, 86, of Forest City, NC, heard the words "Well done, my good and faithful servant," as she entered into eternity on March 22, 2025 in Clover, SC. Born June 10, 1938 in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Julius T. Williams and Lona Mae Champion Williams and was also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Willie Arrowood, six sisters, and two brothers. Pauline grew up working on the farm picking cotton and attending David Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She graduated from Bethware High School. She was a devoted pastor's wife, faithful to the mission call that she answered with Willie, first as church planters with the Southern Baptist Association, and later with a full-time ministry in Forest City. Pauline played drums at church and could always be counted on to deliver her famous deviled eggs at events and holidays. She loved people and thrived on community. She was a go-getter and a warrior, surviving numerous health challenges including a heart attack, five bypasses, two bouts with cancer, severe burns, a horse collision, and a bicycle crash down the side of a mountain. Pauline was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and stood firm in her faith in Him. Her family remember her fondly as a loving mother of three daughters and a wonderful MeeMaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pauline's memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved her, especially the family she loved so dearly.
