Reca Lynn Gales

Reca Lynn Gales, age 47 of Hill Haven Dr., died June 30, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center from an automobile accident. Reca was born February 7, 1966 in Lincoln County, a daughter of Lester Gales of Lincolnton, GA, and Jeanie Smith of Lincolnton. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a son Jodie Gales.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her children Brandy Gales of Denver, Josh Gales and Drew Boyles both of Hickory, brother Todd Gales of SC, sisters Rita Bowen of Lincolnton, Donna Gales of Cherryville, and Tasha Gales of Lincolnton, GA., and five grandchildren Kerstin Bowlels, Jadon Legursky, Kayleigh Gales, Matthew Gales and Bryson Sigmon.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 3 at 4 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating with burial to follow in the Hoyle Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-3:45 Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at 1677 Shoal Rd., Lincolnton, NC.
