Regina "Gina" Keough Hutto
Born August 25, 1961 in Andrews, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Michael Harley Keough and Amanda Shope and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Walker and Melissa Gates, and her son, Joshua Willis. Gina lived all her life in North Carolina and was employed at Burlan Manufacturing. She loved being outdoors, whether gardening and tending to her plants and flowers, sunbathing by the pool, or just plain old porch-sitting while enjoying her wind chimes. Gina loved music and dancing; her favorite song was "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye. She loved drinking sweet tea, and occasionally enjoyed a Natty Lite with a Misty Blue cigarette. Gina's Thanksgiving dinner was famous among the family; she delighted in making turkey and sides and desserts for all to enjoy. She was passionate about helping people detect cancer with mammograms and other screening measures. Gina was very family-oriented and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all who loved her and hold her memory close.
