Robert Edward Branton, 80 of 1407 June Road, Shelby passed away, Sunday
February 18, 2018 at home.

Born January 30, 1938 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Edward
E. Branton and Dorothy Peeler Branton. He was an owner and vice president
of Dedmon's Concrete. Mr. Branton was of the Christian Faith and served in
the US Navy on the USS C.H. Roan.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Hambright Branton; three daughters, Myra
Burkhalter (Scottie), Ann Lee Hough (Bobby) and Robbie Lynn Smith (Jason)
all of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Carolyn Spangler (James) of Double
Shoals and Gaynelle Grimes(Robert) of Wendell, NC; ten grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 4:00PM Tuesday at Rose Hill Memorial Park with
Rev. Scottie Burkhalter officiating.
