UNION MILLS - Ronald Kevin Ledford, 52, of Deer Ridge Road, Union Mills, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at his residence. A native of New York, he was born on October 20, 1959, a son of Robert Donald and Nancy Hyder Ledford of Union Mills. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
 
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Travis Kevin Ledford; one brother, Robert Keith Ledford of Rutherfordton; one sister, Robin Karen Laughter and husband Jerry of Spindale.
 
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Oak Springs Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, with the Rev. Ray Hooper and Rev. Don Hollifield officiating.
