Mr. Roy H. McMurry, 88, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Military Honors. 

Mr. McMurry served our country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Yancy McMurry and Frances Elizabeth Suzanna McSwain; Infant daughter & son, Annie and Dewey McMurry; 2 brothers, Wilburn McMurry and Clifford McMurry; and 4 sisters, Laurlie Bridges, Irene Barrett, Mary Helen Queen and Kathleen White.

He is survived by special friend, Irmgard Strayhorn of Orlando, FL; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
