Ruth Canipe, age 79 died Friday May 9, 2014 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on April 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Caphus Ray and Hattie Elizabeth Peeler Beaver.  She retired from Fiber Industries in Salisbury and served numerous families in the home health care industry as a CNA. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon, Johnny and Guy Beaver, and one sister, Bryte Beaver Cook.

Ruth is survived by a son, Jeff Canipe and wife Elise of Huntersville; two brothers, C. R. Beaver (Diane), Warren Beaver (Millie); her faithful companion Max; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 11:00am at Big Springs Baptist Church in Hollis. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service, from 10:30 until 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 20150.
