The Shelby VFW Post 4066 recently hosted a fundraiser including a golf tournament, auction, and BBQ dinner. The S.A.I.L. classrooms of Cleveland County Schools were selected as the recipients. This is one of the many ways which the Shelby VFW gives back to the community. The Cleveland County Schools S.A.I.L. Program would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who organized and participated in this successful fundraiser.

Bill Lynn Memorial Golf Tournament
Raises $11,250
for Cleveland County Schools' Autism Programs

The tournament was held on May 29, 2015 at Riverbend Golf Club. 1st Place winner of the captain's choice format, low gross was the team of Richard (Sug) Gold, Zack McKelvey, Bill Mitchell and Ted Riviere. The event included the golf tournament, a half & half drawing, door prizes, and an auction. Auctioneers were Ralph and Joyce Elliott. The VFW would like to thank all the following hole sponsors, contributors, and volunteers who made this year's event a huge success.
