Vale - Mrs. Shirley Kathryn Dellinger Houser, 80, passed away on Saturday,
August 19, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Lincoln.

Mrs. Houser was born in Cleveland County, NC on February 28, 1937 a daughter
of Thomas Henry Dellinger Maude Jenks Dellinger. She was a mechanic at
Houser's Radiator Shop in Vale and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey
Clyde Houser, Sr.; a son, Jerry Clyde Houser; a daughter, Linda Ross and a
grandson, Josh Ross.

Survivors include a son, Harvey Clyde Houser, Jr. of Vale; four daughters,
Patricia Houser Fulbright and husband Dennis of Hickory; Brenda Small of
Lincolnton; Katherine Houser Moore and husband Timothy of Vale; Kathy
Carpenter and husband Jerry of Cherryville; three brothers, Click Dellinger,
Jack Dellinger and Gary Dellinger all of Cherryville; four sisters, Ruby
Keever, Carolyn Camp, and Gay Ramsey all of Cherryville and Frankie Bess of
Waco; also surviving are a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and
great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2107 from 1:45PM to 2:45PM at
North Brook Baptist Church, Cherryville and at other times the family will
be at the home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at North
Brook Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wise officiating.

Burial will be in Wehunt Family Cemetery.
