Vera Ann Ledford Ellis, 79, of Grover, NC, passed away on December 23, 2023 in Grover, NC.

Born in Cleveland, NC, she was the daughter of the late Belve Ledford and Vera Louise Goforth Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband Julian Lane Ellis, her son Randy Lane Ellis, and siblings Kathy Dover and Jerry Ledford. Vera passed away on her beloved husband's birthday. She attended A New Beginnings Church in Kings Mountain. She worked for Minette Mills in Grover, North Carolina and retired from Burlan Mills in Gastonia, North Carolina. In her younger years she loved softball, swimming and fishing with her husband. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren, who affectionately called her Moo.

Siblings: Bill Ledford, Betty Ruff, Jimmy Ledford, Gene Ledford, Bobby Ledford, Johnny Ledford, and Renee Byars

Grandchildren: Kelly Ross and wife Wendy, Andrew Withers and wife Anysa, Willie Cochran and wife Charlotte, Crystal Sipes and husband Aaron, and Mikey Clayton

11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel Thursday December 28, 2023 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Doug Ramsey officiating.

VISITATION: 2:00 - 2:50 PM Thursday December 28, 2023 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home.
