SHELBY – Mr. Wesley Edward Anderson, 82, of Columns Circle, went to be with his Lord, Fri., Mar. 22, 2013, at his home. A native of Dupage County, Ill., he was the son of the late Elmer and Grace Ceranek Anderson. He served in the Air Force, was a graduate of Bob Jones University, retired after 40 years with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, and was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he was active in the nursing home ministry
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Elmer Anderson; sister Jacque Buchanan; and granddaughter, Lacy Anderson
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 26 years, Judy Swanson Anderson, of the home; two daughters, Debbie Murray and husband David of Downers Grove, Ill., Linda Lewallen and husband Ken of Powell, Tenn.; son, Wes Anderson of Alberta, Canada; stepchildren, Becky Cavey, Jenny Johnson, Christine Snyder, and Jonathan Ehren; grandchildren, Ryan Murray and wife Regina, Jake Murray, Kindahl Meek and husband Garrett, Carly Lewallen, Cammie, Ember, and Garrett Anderson; two great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Anderson and wife Carol; two sisters, Gloria Wineman and husband Terry, and Wilma King and husband Wayne.
SERVICES: 7PM, Tuesday, at Bethel Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Tuesday, 5:30-7PM, at the church.
CLERGY: Dr. Tim Sims
BURIAL: 10AM, Wednesday, at Cleveland Memorial Park, with military honors
