Amber Elizabeth Walker, 11, of 132 Brunet Drive, Casar, passed away
Thursday, November 24, 2011.
Born in Burke County, she was a daughter of Gary Tony Walker and Brenda Sue
Cook Walker both of Casar. Amber was a student at Casar Elementary School
where she was in the AIG Program and a member of the Good News Club. She
attended Carpenter's Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by brothers, Garry Walker of
Casar and Rodney Bradshaw of Vale; sisters, Toni Walker, Holly Jenkins, Beth
Walker and Karen Walker all of Casar; grandfather, Norris Cook and
grandmother, Janice Cook of Vale.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:30 pm Sunday at Stamey
Funeral Home in Fallston.
The funeral will be at 11:00 am Monday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Jerry Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist
Church in Lawndale.
