Barbara T. Gunn, 90, of Blacksburg, SC passed away peacefully Sunday evening, July 14, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.

She was the wife of the late Ben David Gunn, and daughter of the late Robert Young "R.Y." Wisher and Lillie Owens Wisher. She was a member of the Blacksburg Church of God in Blacksburg, SC and retired from retail sales. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Buford Wisher, LeRoy Wisher, Dean Wisher, Lloyd Wisher, and Vardell Wisher. Also preceding in death are sisters, Georgie Runyans, Mary Lou Hamrick, Gloria McClain, Dorothy Wood, and Lucille Myers.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Beverly Smith (Sam) of Gastonia, NC; grandson, Brandon Smith (Lauren) of Huntersville, NC; and great grandson, Noah Smith.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Blacksburg Church of God in Blacksburg, SC from 10-11 AM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11 AM with the Rev. Kevin Hand officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Blacksburg, SC at the conclusion of the Celebration of Life Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to be made to Blacksburg Church of God, 607 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
