Mrs. Beatrice Bumgardner Michaels, 80, of 124 Jimmy Morrison
Road passed away Saturday, December 27,2014 at home.
Born in Cleveland County on December 20. 1934, she was a daughter of the
late Esper and Nancy Smith Bumgardner. She worked for Drexel Furniture and
Morganton Hoisery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband,
James Junior Mincey; sons, William Mincey and Mark Michaels; brothers, Hoyle
Lee, GC, JU and Owen Bumgardner; and sister, Valerie Carico.
Mrs. Michaels is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Rev. Earl
Michaels; son, Hoyle Lee Mincey of South Carolina; brother, Eugene
Bumgardner of Polkville; sisters, Louise Michaels of Morganton, Lillie
Carico of Lawndale and Annie Bell Wray of Kings Mountain; grandchildren,
Christina Willis, Brenda Mincey, Jeremiah Mincey and Joshua Mincey; and
great grandchild, Riley Mincey.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 pm, Monday, at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. John Hudson officiating.
Burial will be at Golden Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.
